Construction Estimator

Roofing & Restoration Services of America LLC has an opening for a full-time estimator.
The applicant must have a minimum of three years work experience with takeoffs for the complete estimating process for low slope roof systems.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating projects from start to finish & must be detail oriented, self-motivated team player with strong computer skill & good communication skills. Our focus is primarily on low slope commercial roofs.   

Essential Requirements:

•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

•Strong organizational and time management skill 

•Ability to work with minimal supervision 

•Pay great attention to details

•Responsible for estimating the costs of a planned construction project.

•Complete documents on time, such as: construction bids, customer proposals, and change orders

•Inspect, scope, photograph and estimate projects

•Responsible for the solicitation of project documents and information

•Meet with potential clients to discuss options for proposed services.

•Formulate cost break down from estimates and for project progress.

•Provide clear detailed quantity take offs.

•Previous experience with estimating projects. 

•Experience with estimating software and spreadsheet design.

•Minimum 3 years experience in low slope commercial  construction estimating.

-Work Environment

•Ability to work in an office and in the field in a fast paced environment with variable working hours.

•Be able to assist pre-bid meetings.

This is a full-time in-office position located in Waxahachie, Texas.  Benefits are offered after 60 days including medical, dental, life insurance, short term disability, long term disability, and 401k with a company match.
